NFIA Investing in the Netherlands 2015

Strong Business Investment

The Netherlands continues to see strong growth with significant investment by companies from around the world. Tesla, easyJet, ExxonMobil, Michael Kors, Forever 21 and Cipla were among the major enterprises advancing capital to Holland and driving job growth. With the assistance of the Netherlands Foreign Investment Agency (NFIA) and its Invest in Holland partners, the Netherlands attracted more than 300 new foreign investment projects in 2015 from around the globe. Those projects represent nearly €1.87 billion in planned capital investment and the creation and retention of 9,300 jobs. The NFIA’s efforts alone contributed to the realization of 207 projects, worth €1.76 billion in investment and 7,779 new jobs – an extraordinary accomplishment.

Globally, the United States, United Kingdom, China, Japan and Germany are fueling growth in the Netherlands by providing thousands of jobs to the Netherland’s highly capable workforce. Our world-class transportation and communications infrastructure, innovative outlook and competitive fiscal climate are also helping to attract investments from some of the biggest names in business.
