Zakenbanken niet naar Amsterdam na Brexit

It is virtually impossible for large banks after the Brexit moving their operations from London to Amsterdam said Chris Buijink, chairman of the Dutch Banking Association (NVB), against EenVandaag.

“For many companies, we are an excellent gateway to Europe, but the great center of Amsterdam investment banking is not.” The Netherlands has a more restrained compensation policy for banks and insurers than other countries and that companies will take into their consideration, says Buijink.

Around the referendum on the Brexit said they think many British companies and financial institutions on a move to another country in order to continue to operate within the European Union. Thus, the major banks were BNP Paribas, Morgan Stanley and JP Morgan are considering a move.
